Foodie Adventures in Tagaytay: Farmer's Table and My Country House

Where do we go if we want to unwind? Tagaytay or somewhere in the vicinity.

Where do we go if we want to just chill? Tagaytay or somewhere close by.

Where do we go if we want to have coffee and chill? You've guessed it right. Tagaytay.

Foodie Adventures in Tagaytay: Farmer's Table and My Country House

So one of my clients gave me a bonus month ago. Well, we knew exactly where to spend it – Tagaytay! Haha.

So, first, we headed to Farmer's Table. It was our first time there, and oh my goodness, their food was absolutely delicious! They use the freshest ingredients, for real. You'll definitely want to come back (make sure to reserve your seats, especially on weekends – they're that popular). Their menu is so extensive that we didn't know where to start. We're foodies – both my husband and I, and my son is becoming one too, day by day. We love trying new things, but we also enjoy sticking to the classics sometimes.

Here's what we ordered:

➥ Beer-Battered Fish & Chips
➥ Bulalo Beef & Potato Hash Skillet
➥ Truffled Mushroom, Bacon, Egg Fettuccine
➥ Butcher's Best Hot & Crispy Stone-Fired Pizza

Let me tell you, we were more than satisfied. It was sooo good!

The best part? Farmer's Table is a pet-friendly restaurant, which was perfect because we had our two dogs with us that day.

After our early dinner, my husband took our older dog for a walk outside, and guess what they found? The absolutely perfect My Country House in Tagaytay. Turns out, they share the same owner (Raintree Restaurants). So, after dinner, we decided to visit My Country House for coffee and dessert.

You won't believe this place – it's classy, it has a charming country feel, and it's just an overall serene oasis. I fell in love with the place. The staff was fantastic, so attentive. And their menu is top-notch, offering everything from soups to desserts, coffee, and more.

Here's what we ordered at My Country House:

➥ Cafe Latte
➥ Ube Coconut Latte
➥ Pure Peppermint Tea
➥ Profiteroles
➥ Hazelnut Croissant

My latte was perfection. The Ube Coconut Latte was a hit with my son, and the tea, well, it's always awesome (thanks, Twinings). The profiteroles were rich, velvety, and slightly sweet – just what I craved. It was a symphony of textures and flavors, a truly divine dessert experience.

And yes, My Country House is also pet-friendly.

A wonderful day in Tagaytay, I would say!
